Minister of Petroleum Resources (Gas) Ekperike Ekpo pays courtesy visit to Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) plant.
During the visit, Chukwuma emphasized that the new CNG plant can produce over 30,000 buses per annum.
The Minister expressed his admiration for IVM boss’ expertise and ingenuity in producing (CNG) vehicles.
Ekperike Ekpo noted that it aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to replace petrol cars with CNG vehicles.
Ekpo promised to share his experience with the President and with the Presidential committee on CNG implementation.
The Minister of Petroleum Resources (Gas), Hon. Ekperike Ekpo, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, at the IVM factory in Nnewi, Anambra State.
During the visit, Innoson boss led the Minister and his entourage on a tour of the facility, showcasing ongoing vehicle manufacturing processes as well as new CNG plant which he said can produce over 30,000 buses per annum.
The Minister expressed his admiration for Innoson boss’s ingenuity in producing Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles, which he said aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to replace petrol cars with CNG vehicles.
The Minister also highlighted the benefits of eco-friendly CNG Vehicles, which he said included low operating cost, elimination of noise, low maintenance cost, and non-contamination of motor oil.
Speaking further, the Minister of Petroleum Resources (Gas) promised to share his experience with President Tinubu and with the Presidential committee on CNG implementation.
In his remarks, Chukwuma, who appreciated the Minister’s visit, acknowledged his support for the company’s mission to produce durable and eco-friendly vehicles. He further emphasized that the new CNG plant can produce over 30,000 buses per annum.
